Indication

Administration & Dosage

Injection area should be clean and free of any microorganism and skin diseases,
- Intra-articular injection with disposable syringe,

Drug Interactions

Adverse Drug Reactions
- Topical pain at the time of injection, swelling and stiffness that may last from 2-7 days,
- This complication was probably due to local injection which is reversible and doesn’t prevent the use of HA injection,
Mechanism of Action
- The high MW HA replace the synovial fluid and improves joint function,
- The HA injection stimulates the body to make more hyaluronic acid,
- Hyaluronic acid stabilizes the collagen network and protect the Articular cartilage against abrasion and prevents the stimulation of pain receptors,
